Thank You

Dear Toymakers,

Thank you for saving my 11-year-old daughter's birthday party last night.

My wife and I have both lost our jobs due to the corona virus affecting our employers, and have scrambled to preserve a sense of fun in the family while sequestered at home.  While picking-up the cake from the local Albertson's grocery store, my 8-year-old son and I pausedto pick-up the usual party supplies, as well as some small toys for gifts.

Among the last things we grabbed were the "Flarp!", and little Daniel's suggestion.  I must confess I almost didn't buy 'em as, for years, the red, rubber-like compound used was so flimsy it broke almost immediately.  I was really reluctant to lay down money for what I'd come to see as a defective product, but at Daniel's insistence, I bought 7 of them; one for each of us, plus an extra for the birthday girl, Annette.

I am proud to say that not only are these latest ones much better than their predecessors, their comparative ruggedness made them the life of the party!  With all four kids getting increasingly stressed-out from school lockdowns due to virus fears, the great silly fun of your whoopee cushions kept the whole family in stiches for a solid 2 hours, almost until it was time for bed!  Thank you again - it was just what all 6 of us needed!

As silly as this might sound, I would say seriously that such product have a real public service role to play these days, just helping kids and their parents take a mental break and laugh together.  I encourage you to embark on marketing them in this new context - y'all sure helped us!

Thanks Again!
