Inside Sales Representative (Full Time)

Are you a highly motivated outgoing self-starter looking for the opportunity to work in a fast passed environment? This position may be for you! Ja-Ru is looking for an inside sales representative to drive small accounts revenue business and attract new business opportunities.

General Purpose: The inside sales representative presents our portfolio of products to small to mid-sized accounts, handles their needs, and maximizes sales within their territory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a strong product, customer, and market knowledge, to handle all customer needs.

  • Master and utilize company standard processes and procedures.

  • Ability to initiate cold/warm calls with potential customers. Ability to interview potential customers to determine opportunities, competitive situation, objections, and effectively communicate benefits to Ja-Ru product catalog.

  • Handle internal processes for quote generation, program maintenance, sample requests and any other administrative needs for your accounts

  • Investigate and resolve customer challenges as they arise.

  • Oversee complete purchase process from receipt of purchase order through invoice.

  • Support in preparing and management of company Trade Shows.

  • Maintain database of current customer programs, new leads, etc.

  • Maintain company showroom. Guarantee removal of discontinued items, addition of new items, etc.

  • Stay updated on latest market trends.

  • Position is based out of our corporate HQ in Jacksonville FL. (This is not a remote position)

Education and Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in selling consumer goods in a performance-based role

  • Track record of exceeding sales quota and/or objectives

  • Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day

  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint

  • Proficient with corporate productivity, technology, and web presentation tools

  • Organized and able to follow department processes and workflow

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management products

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 80% of the time

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer

  • Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents

  • Must be able to communicate and converse with vendors over the phone
